    Mark Antony Estates, a family-founded company and Alto customer, has been serving the Warrington community for over 10 years, earning the title of best local estate agent from the AllAgents Awards for the last seven of those.

    “We just want to put people first and help local buyers and sellers find their dream homes.” Mark shared, with this approach earning them one of the highest ratings in the Chesire and Warrington areas.

    Before switching to Alto in December 2022, they used Jupix as their day-to-day CRM. And, they were still handling all of their conveyancing via email and phone calls, until they were introduced to Alto’s conveyancing feature in May 2024.

     

    Challenges of an estate agent

     

    Losing a trusted solicitor: The firm had established a long-term relationship with a sole conveyancing partner, who consistently delivered for them and their customers. Unfortunately, the solicitor was bought out by a larger organisation, and consequently, the branch was closed down

    Managing transactions: Even though the business was reasonably content with the way they used to manage transactions, founder Mark admits the admin of managing transactions, tracking referral fees in never-ending email chains, and chasing, did result in lost or delayed information

    Sales progression: They have implemented a number of solutions for this area of the business, but it continues to be time consuming for agents, especially with complex property transactions that sometimes involve 30+ stakeholders (customers, agents, conveyancers, etc.)

    Fate, coincidence, or good research?

     

    Within days of losing his trusted solicitor, Mark received two important calls. First, Zain Akhtar, a member of the Alto team, got in touch with him to explain that Alto was launching a brand new conveyancing feature. And second, a different conveyancing firm, Muve, also reached out to offer their services to Mark and his team.

    He liked what he heard from both parties. But, he didn’t want to choose one or the other.
